Tyler the Gator boi is a friendly punk-rock Alligator from Florida with a bit of a wild streak! Lead guitarist of the band, living in a world that tends to look down on the large, scalie, misunderstood creatures. Playing parody punk songs in his band at the bar, people love him, and retains mass appeal across audiences. But he's not afraid to stand up for others.

Tyler will grow and change as I do. When I became a barefooter due to medical necessity, so did Tyler. His style is also a mix of my own (smart casual, wide-striped polos, floral shirts) and some of his as well (band tanks, tufted leather vests). He doesn't remain fixed in any one style.

Character Rules

Tyler is NEVER depicted naked. He may be shirtless at the beach, or wear undies, but he is NOT a null or adult character. When in doubt, jeans and polo.

Tyler is NOT emo or anarchist. He loves upbeat Ska and Pop-Punk music that brings people together in good fun! He may be depicted sad, but this should be rare, as his personality is much more lively.

Tyler's hair is ALWAYS a bright, bold magenta. This signature trait distinguishes him from other members of the group and never dyes his hair a different color.

Tyler is ALWAYS depicted barefoot! This is because shoes cause me pain and I am a genuine barefooter in real life. Tyler can be barefoot hiking in nature, walking in a city, or performing almost any activity. Depictions where shoes are required (i.e. frozen snow) should be avoided.

You MAY NOT draw Tyler the Gator without permission.

You MAY NOT draw Tyler the Gator in adult artwork (fully nude, private parts showing).

You MAY NOT use the character to promote hate or misrepresent Sotalo or the Virtual Furry Museum.

You MAY experiment with the rendering style for Tyler. While I tend to use vectors and bold colors, feel free to try new and interesting rendering styles, even abstraction!

You MAY design new clothes for Tyler for your drawing! He rarely wears long-sleeve clothing.

You MAY depict him with dirty feet. As a barefooter, dirty feet are part of the deal, and just the way Tyler would look naturally, even in SFW art. But feetpaw-focused images must be marked as mature.
